1950s
New Beginnings
During Manila's post-war rebuilding era, three classmates—Ching Chi Hun, Sy Lian Chai, and Mateo See—established Anchor Supply along Ilaya Street in Divisoria. The business supplied office, school, and general paper products to the country's growing business community.
1960s
The Birth of Fil-Anchor
Driven by hard work and growing demand, the business expanded into paper bags, plastic packaging materials, and a larger production facility in Tondo. During this period, the company officially became Fil-Anchor Paper Co Inc, combining "Fil" for Filipino and "Anchor" from its original trade name.
1970s–1990s
Resilience Through the Years
Despite economic downturns, political instability, the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis, and a devastating fire, Fil-Anchor continued to grow through resilience, strong banking relationships, and the trust of long-standing customers and suppliers.
Late 1980s
Expanding Global Partnerships
Fil-Anchor became one of the early Philippine paper companies to source from China, building partnerships with trusted international mills and suppliers. This diversified its sourcing network and strengthened its ability to support customers.

Today, Fil-Anchor is a multi-generational family business serving commercial printers, packaging converters, food businesses, manufacturers, and industrial clients nationwide.
